CONGRATULATIONS to all those who participated in The Links, Incorporated 2015-2016 National Poster Art Competition!  The competition theme, Healthy, Energetic, Active Lifestyles Matter – Make Health a Habit!, was beautifully and artistically represented by all seven participants composed of Wyandanch UFSD youth and several members of Girls Who Code S.T.E.A.M. Club who were all declared winners.  Poster Art Entries were judged on Saturday, March 19, 2016 by two local artists: Ms. Jerri Ann Castillo of Huntington, NY Youth Bureau and Mr. Robert Carter, renowned, award –winning artist of Dix Hills, NY at the Upsky Long Island Hotel, Hauppauge, NY.
Poster art entries were judged in four categories:  Category I included grades 1-3; Category II consisted of grades 4-6; Category III included grades 7-9; while Category IV was composed of grades 10-12.  First, second and third place winners were assigned and these prizes are $100.00, $50.00, and $25.00, respectively.
